All Abilities Hoop Fusion Programs

Hoops With a Spin and a Twist

Tarn shares her skills in these tailored sessions with an aim to support mental & physical wellbeing through movement and play.  Using simple movements with hoops and circus apparatus, participants will learn skills that boost confidence, build functional capacity and explore self-expression.

Hooping promotes both physical and mental wellbeing, it supports and nurtures inclusion, coordination, spatial awareness, strength & mobility, confidence, dexterity, flexibility & FUN.

Tarn has been spinning hoops for many years and in that time spent 7 years working as a trainer at a local circus school. She has a diploma of fitness, currently studying counselling and has an innate yearn to make a positive difference to those around her.  Her most recent work has been assisting an OT exploring art and movement therapies for neurodiverse kids and marginalised kids that have experienced trauma. With many years of hooping within the disability sector facilitating ongoing programs in specialist schools and workshops with local support providers, she has found this to be some of her most rewarding work.
