Hoops With a Spin and a Twist
Tarn shares her skills in these tailored sessions with an aim to support mental & physical wellbeing through movement and play. Using simple movements with hoops and circus apparatus, participants will learn skills that boost confidence, build functional capacity and explore self-expression.
Hooping promotes both physical and mental wellbeing, it supports and nurtures inclusion, coordination, spatial awareness, strength & mobility, confidence, dexterity, flexibility & FUN.
Tarn has been spinning the hoops for well over a decade and in that time has spent 7 years working as a trainer at a local circus school. She has a diploma of fitness and a drive to make a positive difference to those around her. She has extensive experience working within the disability sector, facilitating ongoing programs within specialist schools and offering workshops with local disability support providers.
All ability programs are tailored to individual and group needs.
